The Yellowstone actor revealed that he would be delighted to return as loved-up Jake, but a follow-up film depends on whether his former co-star Reese Witherspoon would have time to shoot it. It’s a bit of an ironic moment when a bunch of convicts, after narrowly escaping a firefight with authorities, start celebrate by blasting a Lynyrd Skynyrd song. Apart from this the convicts seemed like they were being pretty smart about everything else. But cheating death and escaping capture could possibly do enough to make a person leave their guard down. Falling in love with that place all over again is another part of it, since it’s very easy to become disillusioned about one’s home if you find something else that is far more attractive. It’s always important to remember just how much love you still have for your home however, and why.
Carpool Karaoke seems like it would be a lot of fun, and it’s amusing to watch. I’d like to be on the sidewalk just in time to watch this car go by with James Corden and whoever his guest was trying to belt out one song or another. It’d be especially funny if the windows were wide open and the guys were just flat out wailing the tunes out. Josh Lucas, who impressed in 'A Beautiful Mind' is a good match for Reese's character, and he helps play down the sugar-sweetness with a grittier performance than is usual in such films. This isn't great, but definitely watchable, with Reese Witherspoon now confirmed as the biggest threat to Julia Roberts' throne as chief actress in Hollywood. New York fashion designer, Melanie Carmichael suddenly finds herself engaged to the city's most eligible bachelor. But her past holds many secrets—including Jake, the redneck husband she married in high school, who refuses to divorce her. Melanie Carmichael, an up and rising fashion designer in New York, has gotten almost everything she wished for since she was little. But when he proposes to her, she doesn't forget about her family back down South. More importantly, her husband back there, who refuses to divorce her ever since she sent divorce papers seven years ago.
It’s not exactly the same but it follows the same melody and it makes for a great comedic moment in a movie that’s otherwise very dramatic. 8 Mile is more or less the story of Eminem and how he came to be one of the most well-known rappers in the industry. The story is embellished quite a bit but the idea is sound enough that people get the gist of it. "Not just, obviously, being a great actress, comedian that she was – she's in her mid-20s at that point. I said to the director, I said to a couple of people, 'Reese is gonna run a movie studio'."

To set matters straight, she decides to go to the south quick and make him sign the papers. When things don't turn out the way she planned them, she realizes that what she had before in the south was far more perfect than the life she had in New York City. Every time you hear Lynyrd Skynyrd’s song Sweet Home Alabama start up you can’t help but feel the need to tap your toes and get down on the dance floor. Well, maybe it’s just me and a lot of other people but this song has been so popular for so long that you couldn’t possibly mistake it for anything else. It doesn’t really matter where it’s used or how, the iconic “Turn it up” is a call to dance and to just enjoy yourself for the next few minutes while the song runs its course.
It’s one of those feelgood down home songs that a lot of people would gladly admit just makes you feel good about yourself at the moment and is meant to be enjoyed. I'm no historian on the subject of the American Civil War, but, in spite of its flaws, I surrender to 'Sweet Home Alabama'because of the charm of Reese Witherspoon. She is such a good actress that you do begin to wonder what she is doing in a fluffy romantic comedy like this, especially as it is definitely not as good as 'Legally Blonde'. But I'm glad she is in it, because it is just like an old-fashioned studio 'vehicle', tailored to suit her upcoming stardom. Once you adjust to the slowish pace, the movie is worth staying with, in spite of its predictability.
